Medicollect engaged in British MS study
Medicollect has been asked to help a British pharmaceutical company with finding MS patients to test a new treatment of spasticity. We are thrilled about this and look forward to engaging with British MS patients.
Focus on spasticity
The study tests a new substance to see whether it can relieve spasticity in people with multiple sclerosis. The total duration of the study is approximately 70 days, and during the course of that all patients are seen several times by a MS specialist.
In order to participate, patients must have MS, suffer from spasticity in the legs, and be able to walk a certain distance.
Transportation and expenses are paid in full
Dedicated MS personnel at the following hospitals carry out the study:
- University College Hospital, London
- The Royal London, Barts
- The Walton Centre, Liverpool
- The Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield
Participation is with no cost for patients as travel and other study related costs are provided.
